28:19 in the Community

Do you realise the impact you could have, if you visit your local service, Police, Ambulance, Fire Station, Doctors Surgery. Care Home, Refuse Collectors, Lollipop attendants, Postman/women, councillor, MP, shop manager, day centre workers, Schools (this list is not exhaustivewith a cake or box of chocolates to show your appreciation,

You don't realise the impact you could have, as a church, by visiting your local emergency service, on a regular basis with a cake, to show your love and appreciation for all they do for your community. By taking this simple initiative, as a church, or home group. you not only build a relationship, but also a trust and a friendship.

Since 2016 KingsHeart Church has adopted their local fire station, and made regular visits and the friendship and trust which has been built, has been truly amazing, which has led to an increase of interest from other fire stations inside and outside of the borough, eg Harold Hill, Hornchurch and Ilford,

If you would like to find out more about this initiative, please email kim@28-19.org.uk and we will be happy to come and share with you how to get you started.
